Nothing is required except the words. The author, source, page, labels, and note are all optional, and when you're deep in one book, Passage keeps the source filled in so you never retype it.

Why it's different
Your library, not a feed.
Passage has no social side. There is no one to follow, no one following you, and nothing to post. What comes back to you each day is a line you chose to keep, in the words you saved it in.
All of the work happens on your iPhone or iPad. Voice and scan recognition run on the device, so a quote never needs a connection and never goes to a server of ours.
Privacy
Nothing leaves your device.
There is no account to make and no server holding your quotes. They live in a store on your device, and you can take them out as a CSV file whenever you want. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected," because there is nothing to collect.
