The templates
Four kinds of paper.
Lined
Ruled lines at the spacing you pick, from wide to narrow. Add a margin line if you want one, and choose any paper color, dark included.
Graph
A grid of even squares, sized however you want, from a fine 2 mm to a wide 15 mm. Good for sketches, diagrams, and anything that needs straight edges to line up against.
Dot grid
The same even grid as Graph, but dots instead of lines. A lighter guide for bullet journals, planning pages, and drawing that shouldn't look ruled.
Cornell
A page split into a narrow cue column, a wide notes column, and a summary strip across the bottom. Built for the classic method of taking notes in class and writing a summary after.
Ruling, explained
The three ruling widths.
Wide ruled sits 11/32 inch apart (8.7 mm). College ruled sits 9/32 inch apart (7.1 mm), the width most lined notebook paper uses by default. Narrow ruled sits 1/4 inch apart (6.35 mm), for smaller, denser handwriting.
The three spacing presets above match these widths exactly, not rounded approximations.
Which size to pick
Match the size to what you'll do with it.
A4 and US Letter are the two standard sizes for printing. Pick whichever your printer and country use, then print the PDF like any other file.
Note app 4:3 is sized 768 by 1024 points, the same shape as a full-screen page in most iPad note apps. A page made at this size fills the screen exactly, with no blank strip down the side the way an A4 or Letter page sometimes leaves on an iPad.

What is college ruled spacing?
College ruled lines sit 9/32 inch apart (7.1 mm, 20.25 points). It sits between wide ruled (11/32 inch, for bigger handwriting) and narrow ruled (1/4 inch, for small, dense handwriting). Pick College if you're not sure which one you use.
Can I get dark paper for writing at night?
Yes. Pick the Dark or Black preset and the ruling lines come in a lighter shade that's easy to read on a dark page. With a custom paper color, you pick the line color yourself, and the red margin line adjusts its shade to stay visible.
Is this actually private?
Yes. Everything happens in your browser. The PDF is made on your device, and nothing you set is sent anywhere. There's no account and no analytics on this page.
Can I print the page I make?
Yes. Choose A4 or US Letter, save the PDF, and print it like any other file. The lines and dots are vector shapes, so they stay sharp at any print size.
How many pages can I make at once?
