Short version
PagePrep does all of its work on your iPhone or iPad. No accounts. No cloud. No tracking. No analytics. Your PDFs are never uploaded and the app asks for no permissions at all. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected," because there is nothing to collect.
Where your files live
When you import a PDF, PagePrep opens it and edits it in memory on your device. The prepared file is saved only where you send it: back to Files, or out through the system share sheet to wherever you choose. PagePrep keeps no copy of your documents once you close them, and there is no library of past files inside the app.
The one small thing PagePrep does remember is a private count of how many free exports you have used, so the free trial works across launches. That number lives on your device, holds nothing about your documents, and resets if you delete the app.
No permissions, ever
PagePrep asks for nothing. To bring in a PDF, it uses the system file picker; to bring in photos for Image to PDF, it uses the system photo picker. Both run outside the app and hand back only the items you pick, so PagePrep never gets access to your whole Files or Photos library. There is no camera, microphone, location, contacts, or notification permission, because the app does not use any of them.
No tracking, no third-party code
The app contains no analytics tools, no crash reporters, no ad frameworks, and no third-party libraries. It makes no network requests for your files. It is built with Apple's PDFKit, SwiftUI, PhotosUI, and StoreKit and ships with no external dependencies.
Your purchase
The one-time purchase that removes the free export cap is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card, your name, or your Apple ID. The app only learns whether the purchase is active on your device.
