Short version

SnoreCheck records your snoring on your phone and keeps it there. No accounts. No tracking. No analytics. Nothing is uploaded. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected," because there is nothing to collect.

Where your recordings live

When you record a night, the sound clips and your scores are saved to a local database on your iPhone. They stay on your device. They are never uploaded, never synced to a server, never read by us.

Delete a single night, use "Delete all recordings," or delete the app, and the recordings are gone for good. There is no backup, because there is no server.

The microphone

SnoreCheck needs microphone access to record while you sleep, so iOS asks your permission the first time you start a recording. The audio is written straight to local storage and analyzed on your device. It is never streamed, and it is never sent anywhere.

No tracking, no third-party code

The app contains no analytics tools, no crash reporters, no ad frameworks, and no third-party libraries. It makes no network requests for your data. It is built with Apple's SwiftUI and StoreKit and ships with no external dependencies.

Your purchase

The one-time Lifetime Unlock is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card, your name, or your Apple ID. The app only learns whether the unlock is active on your device.

Not a medical device

SnoreCheck records snoring sounds and shows trends over time. It does not diagnose sleep apnea or any other medical condition. If you are concerned about your sleep, talk to a doctor.
